These three training principles are achieved through training different rep ranges, sets, rest times, execution of the movements, and so forth. Basically, changing the structure of your workout will mean that you are either training for strength, hypertrophy, or muscular endurance.

Strength Training is training your force output, how much power you can produce in a given movement. Hypertrophy is training for muscle size, definition, and body physique. Muscular Endurance is your body’s ability to perform an exercise for a certain duration of time. All three of these training styles tie into one another more or less, it’s just important to know what you are training so that you will know what results you can expect from your training.
