Visualization
Visualization
There is so much that goes with this topic.
Let’s start with this: Your brain does not know the difference between you thinking about doing something or you performing the actual physical event.
Your brain can’t tell the difference even when you experience a really vivid dream, where you wake up and then feel the same emotions in your awake reality that you felt in your dream; fear, sadness, joy, love. That experience you had in your dream is just as real as your day to day experiences during your awake reality. Yet we diminish our experience as “just a dream”.
Why is this important to visualization?
Because, if you can train yourself to really visualize a goal of yours, and not just any goal, but a really great goal that you can see yourself achieving, where you can see yourself in the future experiencing it fully, you can fully feel the emotions of what you would feel like, you can smell the aromas of whatever your goal is, you can see the whole picture of your goal and all that comes with it, and you experience every little aspect of it as if you are already there, then I guarantee it! I guarantee that you will reach your goal. Will you have to do work in the physical world, well yea of course, this isn’t fairy wonderland where wishes come true out of thin air. I am talking about something that is very very real, very tangible. And that is visualizing the outcome of your desired goal way before you even arrive to your goal. Just like driving to your favorite place in nature, you can already see it, you can already smell the fresh air and already hear the sweet sounds of life buzzing all about, you can feel the breeze blowing through the air across your skin, you can already imagine your mind completely at ease. But you still have to put in the work to get there. And the work should feel as effortless as you driving to your favorite place in nature, you have zero worries, you already know that you will arrive, it’s just a matter of time.
Time is where we get all wrapped up in our heads. “I don’t have enough time”, “It takes too long”, “It’s too quick”, “It’s not long enough”, “It’s so far away”, “It’s right there”, “Maybe another time”, “We have to go right now”, “We’ll go later”.
What if none of that mattered and we didn’t worry about all the time nonsense but just focused on our intial desire of being there. It’s like when you sleep, you just close your eyes and drift off into dreamland, then in seven hours you open your eyes and it’s daytime. Amazing!
Visualization is a powerful tool that can help individuals manifest the life of their dreams. By harnessing the power of their imagination, one can create a vivid mental picture of the desired future. To begin, find a quiet and comfortable space, close your eyes, and allow your mind to wander into the realm of possibilities. See yourself living the life you desire; visualize the details, the emotions, and the achievements. Engage all your senses in this mental movie, immersing yourself fully. As you continue practicing visualization on a regular basis, you will begin to align your subconscious mind with your conscious goals, paving the way for inspired actions and attracting the necessary opportunities to turn your dreams into reality. Remember, visualization is not merely wishful thinking but an intentional practice that can pave the pathway to manifesting your deepest desires.
